item North America (MB Kit Systems) is celebrating
ten years of business in North America. It's been ten years since Eveline and Michael
Nordhauss chose Akron, Ohio as the North American headquarters for the item modular machine
building system which has enjoyed unparallel success in Germany and surrounding European
countries. The decision to choose Akron, Ohio was obviously a good one. In the past ten years,
item has seen positive growth in the range of
15%-30% annually. This success stems from significant investment in engineering resources as
well as a customer commitment found no where else in the industry. Significant highlights
since the move to Akron include...
- The move to a new 30,000 square foot facility designed specifically for the engineering,
design and assembly of automation related projects and applications.
- The design and preparation of a 20,000 square foot addition including 5,000 square feet
of office space to handle significant engineering, sales and assembly growth.
- The implementation of a comprehensive, long term marketing plan designed to make customers
and prospects fully aware of item's extensive capabilities. This plan includes multiple part
mailings, a sales and marketing DVD complete with an interactive presentation CD, a continually
upgraded, technical website and detailed applications photo gallery.
